Robert is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a Bachelor’s in Critical Studies and a minor in Screenwriting. He has worked with Marty Bowen’s Temple Hill Entertainment, Andrew Kortschak’s End Cue Entertainment, and Twentieth Century Fox. He is the Founder and CEO of Smatfilms Productions and VR Realty, the latter of which led to employment as a Technical expert at the IMAX company’s new Virtual Reality Center. Robert hails from Texas and lives in Los Angeles.

Robert began making films under the Smatfilms moniker at a young age. The name was made official only a few years later in order to produce web content in collaboration with SmatWebDesign, his mother’s company. Since then, Robert has found a passion for filmmaking, and his collaborators in Smatfilms lead to excellent quality output that grabs attention and maximizes emotional connection.
